To strengthen our team in medical controlling, we are looking for a committed and assertive personality for the independent processing of expert opinions of the Medical Service (MD) as soon as possible . The activity can take place across locations – close coordination with the facilities supported is essential.

This position is being sought at the Helios Clinic Berlin-Buch.

• Independent examination and evaluation of MD reports with regard to their medical and formal plausibility
• Writing well-founded contradictions to incomprehensible MD reports
• Independent implementation of discussion procedures as well as negotiations with health insurance companies
• Communication and coordination with doctors and the coding department to optimize documentation and billing quality
• Mirroring of the expert report findings to the specialist departments for continuous improvement
• Analysis of the results and regular reporting to medical controlling and hospital management

• Completed medical training or studies with several years of professional experience in a clinical environment
• Very good knowledge of the G-DRG system as well as the applicable coding and billing rules
• Strong medical expertise and the ability to analyze complex issues in a structured manner
• Fluent in negotiation and convincing communication skills – especially in exchange with payers
• High level of personal responsibility, goal orientation and an efficient, structured way of working
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to collaborate across locations
