For the medical physics support of the X-ray equipment, especially in the high-dose range at the Helios University Hospital Wuppertal, but also in other clinics in the region, the following position is available at the earliest possible date

Medical physicist (m/f/d)

full-time or part-time as soon as possible.

• Monitoring and contact person (m/f/d) for quality assurance of the X-ray equipment, communication with the medical department
• Monitoring compliance with the dose reference values for high-dose procedures
• Implementation of notification/approval proceduresOptimization of radiation protection

• Personal dosimetry
• Optimization of device radiation protection
• Participation in the optimization of examination procedures

• Completed studies in medical physics
• If possible, professional experience in the field of medical physics
• Specialist knowledge in X-ray diagnostics is desirable, other specialist knowledge in radiation protection for the areas of teletherapy with accelerators and afterloading would be an advantage
• Knowledge of IT hardware and software
• Team spirit and a cooperative attitude
