For our team in the vascular surgery department at Helios Klinikum Duisburg, we are looking for you as a nurse or medical assistant (m/f/d) for our elective surgery outpatient department.

• Practical implementation of non-invasive examination procedures with preliminary evaluation of the results

• Organization of vascular consultation hours and vascular ward
• Taking a basic medical history and basic findings, including preliminary classification of symptoms and staging
• Coding of diseases and vascular surgery procedures
• Preparatory information for patients (step-by-step information)
• Blood sampling and insertion of indwelling cannulas as well as wound management according to doctor's orders
• Preparation of patients in the operating room and active assistance in the operating room

• Completed vocational training as a healthcare and nursing assistant or medical assistant (m/f/d)

• Experience in the field of surgery desirable, but not essential
• Organizational and communication skills
• Confident dealing with patients and their relatives
• Good IT skills
• Flexibility, resilience and an independent way of working
• Economic thinking and acting as well as commitment and creativity
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
