Senior Manager Healthcare Networks (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Team Leader with strong communication, and decision-making skills who is able to take over the technical and disciplinary leadership of the network team to ensure an efficient, service-oriented team organization.

You will have the overall responsibility for the strategic orientation, architecture, standardization and stable operation of the company-wide network infrastructure and ensure that network services are provided sustainably, securely, and economically in line with the company's objectives.

Your responsibilities:

• Definition and further development of the network strategy and target architecture

• Derive technical roadmaps from business, security, and compliance requirements

• Evaluation of new technologies and market trends and derivation of recommendations for action

• Responsibility for architecture standards, policies and governance in the network environment

• Responsibility for compliance with standards, policies and regulatory requirements

• Control, coordination and quality control of external service providers

• Escalation instance for complex technical issues and critical incidents

• Ensuring timely and quality-assured processing of second-level tickets

• Ensuring stable operation of the LAN infrastructure, smooth operation of the corporate Wi-Fi, and operation of the firewall and perimeter infrastructure

• Responsibility for the secure operation of network transitions in accordance with company policies

• Establishment and further development of monitoring, reporting and documentation standards

• Ensuring complete and audit-proof configuration and system documentation

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field

• In-depth knowledge of network architectures, design and operational models

• Comprehensive understanding of the current network and infrastructure market

• Experience in defining architectural standards and target architectures

• Proven track record in leading technical teams

• Relevant network certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) are advantageous

• High customer and service orientation as well as a structured, responsible, and solution-oriented work style

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
