We are looking for you to join our general ward team as soon as possible as

Head of department (m/f/d)

• Organizational, nursing and personnel management of the general ward

• With the aim of patient- and process-oriented care, you will be responsible for the professional and economic organization of the entire care area of this ward
• Coordination, organization, control and optimization of work processes in consultation with the medical department
• Actively shaping the team development of the general ward
• Ensuring professional patient care in accordance with applicable standards
• You will work closely with colleagues from the various specialist departments in a patient-oriented manner

• Completed vocational training as a qualified healthcare and nursing professional (m/f/d)

• Further training as head of a functional unit or willingness to undertake corresponding further training
• Strong social and communication skills, nursing competence and assertiveness
• Planning and organizational skills as well as motivation for professional development
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Helios Clinic for Cardiac Surgery Karlsruhe was founded in 1995 as a specialist cardiac surgery clinic and has 96 beds, including 24 intensive care and 16 intermediate care beds. The operating theater comprises 5 operating rooms, including a modern hybrid operating room for so-called TAVI (heart valve replacement therapy). With over 1800 operations a year, the clinic is one of the largest specialist cardiac surgery clinics in Germany.
