Country HR Head Nordics (m/f/d)

As Country HR Head (m/f/d) you will own the national HR agenda — combining strategic leadership with strong operational, hands-on involvement. A significant focus lies within the Operations and Production environment, particularly in Sweden and the Scandinavia Cluster (over 1,000 FTE). You will act as a key strategic advisor to the Country Leadership Team while ensuring robust, practical HR support at the operational level.

Your main tasks:

Strategic HR Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the national HR strategy, ensuring alignment with global directives while adapting to the realities of production and operations
  • Advise the Country Leadership Team on workforce planning, organizational design, and transformation initiatives
  • Support organizational changes by assessing and managing HR-related impacts
  • Adapt and deploy global HR frameworks in areas such as talent management, compensation & benefits, leadership development, succession planning, and performance management

Operational HR Responsibilities

  • Work closely with plant and production leaders, providing daily operational HR support directly at the line
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including contracts, shift models, workforce planning, time & attendance, and operational HR processes
  • Ensure strong HR presence at production sites across Scandinavia
  • Handle labor relations, union collaboration, and legal compliance
  • Drive efficient HR processes and ensure effective collaboration with HR Operations, Payroll, and Centers of Excellence

HR Leadership & Operations

  • Lead the Country HR Team across multiple legal entities and sites
  • Professionalize and standardize HR processes with a strong focus on operational excellence
  • Monitor HR KPIs with emphasis on absenteeism, turnover, workforce needs, and shift planning
  • Strengthen cooperation between HR, Production, and Supply Chain stakeholders

Culture, Compliance & Collaboration

  • Foster an inclusive, performance-oriented culture across all sites, especially within Operations
  • Ensure compliance with legal frameworks, collective agreements, and regulatory requirements
  • Build strong relationships with leaders, employees, and employee representative bodies

Your profile:

  • Degree in Business, Law, HR, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years Senior HR leadership experience, ideally in industrial, manufacturing, or production environments within a global Matrix driven organisation
  • Ability to combine strategic mindset with hands-on operational execution
  • Expertise in labor law, collective agreements, union relations, and employee relations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels—from production floor to executive leadership
  • Experience in HR transformation, harmonization of processes, and change management
  • Excellent English skills; additional languages are a plus
