For our Helios Clinic in Oberhausen, we are looking for you at the earliest possible date as

Senior physician in the central emergency department (m/f/d)

• You are part of the management team of the Central Emergency Department (ZNA) and thus responsible for the treatment of our ZNA patients in a multidisciplinary team

• As a trauma surgeon (m/f/d), you will support the training assistants in our surgical clinics both in emergency medicine and in deepening their surgical expertise
• Carrying out BG consultations
• Lecturing / participation in regular internal training events
• The ZNA is run as an independent department and treats approx. 18,000 patients per year. There is an authorization for further training in clinical acute and emergency medicine for 18 months. If required, a further 6 months can be completed at another Helios clinic as part of the employment at our clinic. The ZNA has a fully equipped shock room.
• We are certified as a local trauma center. The head physician of the Clinic for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery is authorized to provide further training in special trauma surgery for a period of 24 months.

• Specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery (m/f/d)

• Additional qualification in special trauma surgery (or analogous to old WBO) desirable
• Additional qualification in clinical acute and emergency medicine desirable or willingness to obtain these additional qualifications; alternatively specialist (m/f/d) with experience in acute patient care with additional qualification in clinical acute and emergency medicine
• Patient-oriented work, strong communication skills, cooperative management style, structured way of working and a willingness to work positively with all other internal and external professional groups, departments and wards round off your profile
