InEK Calculation Officer (m/f/d)

full-time/part-time based in Berlin, alternatively in one of our clinics.

• InEK calculation & data management: You will be responsible for the centrally controlled creation and continuous development of InEK-compliant cost unit calculations for our clinics. You will ensure high data quality through automated data preparation.
• Data validation & error procedures: You will develop global checking rules for systematic data validation, manage the InEK error log in a coordinating role and support the hospitals in the efficient implementation of necessary data corrections.
• Standard setting & guideline development: You will define and implement central standards, guidelines and processes for InEK calculation in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g. KHBV, DRG system). In this way, you ensure a uniform and practical implementation of the controlling work on site.
• Quality controlling & reporting: You set up central dashboards and reports with meaningful key figures in order to control data quality transparently and derive targeted process improvements in the individual locations.
• Stakeholder communication & consulting: As a competent contact person, you will advise stakeholders at all hierarchical levels on InEK-related issues. You navigate complex contexts in a clear, solution-oriented manner and ensure the transfer of knowledge between central and decentralized areas.

• Completed studies in business administration, health economics, business informatics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in hospital controlling, in particular in cost unit accounting according to InEK
• Sound knowledge of InEK specifications, the DRG system and KHBV principles
• Analytical way of thinking, strong affinity for numbers and high accuracy in dealing with performance and financial data
• Structured, independent way of working with high quality standards as well as the ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
• Confident handling of MS Excel; ideally experience with HIS/calculation systems (e.g. ORBIS, SAP)
• Desirable: knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and programming skills (e.g. Python)
