Nursing Specialist - Ward Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for you for 01.04.2026 at Herzzentrum Leipzig as a health and nursing professional / nurse (m/f/d)

in the function of ward manager (m/f/d) for our cardiac surgery ward

• You will manage the nursing team of the cardiac surgery ward
• You will coordinate the deployment of staff and support your nursing team in the development of professional and social skills
• You will be responsible for the further development and design of processes and structures in your area of responsibility
• You ensure the implementation of corporate and clinical objectives (e.g. Group transparency policy, Fresenius Group Code of Conduct, checklists, internal reviews) in your area of responsibility
• You promote an open and constructive error culture and lead your team in an appreciative and respectful manner
• You actively contribute to the further development and implementation of care-specific topics with reference to legal requirements and national expert standards

• You have completed training as a healthcare and nursing professional (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• You have several years of professional experience, if possible with management responsibility
• Ideally, you have completed a management course or are willing to complete a ward management course or a degree in management and economics
• Your strengths include communication skills, initiative, organizational talent and strong interpersonal skills
• You will be willing to work together across professional groups and be confident in using IT applications such as MS Office
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
