What you can expect

  • Acute psychiatric care: As a ward physician (m/f/d), you will initially be responsible for the treatment of patients with acute psychiatric illnesses, including exploration, diagnostics, testing, crisis intervention and therapy planning.
  • Further training opportunities: Depending on the progress of your further training, there is the opportunity to work in the Psychiatric Institute Outpatient Clinic (PIA).
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation: You will work closely with other specialist departments in the clinic and the sleep laboratory to ensure holistic care.
  • Discharge management: Together with the social services department, you will develop aftercare concepts and accompany patients into further treatment.

What you bring with you

License to practice medicine (m/f/d): You have successfully completed your studies in human medicine and have a German license to practice medicine.

Advanced further training: Ideally, you are already a junior doctor (m/f/d) in advanced further training in psychiatry, neurology or internal medicine.

Specialist expertise: You have sound knowledge of psychiatry and psychotherapy, preferably also in geriatric psychiatry or addiction medicine.

Language skills: Excellent written and spoken German (at least level C1) is required.

Strong communication skills: You are characterized by excellent communication skills and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team. Openness to modern therapeutic approaches and a strong creative drive round off your profile.

Immunization: You have the legally required proof of immunization against measles.
