Training as a surgical assistant 2026 (m/f/d)

We are looking for trainees to become surgical assistants from 01.09.2026 .

• A three-year apprenticeship, which is divided into school-based (Helios Klinikum Plauen training center) and practical assignments

• You will acquire knowledge in the proper preparation and follow-up of surgical procedures as well as surgical and patient documentation
• During your training, you will learn how to instrument, assist, organize and coordinate in the operating theatre and functional areas
• You will learn about hygiene measures in the operating theatre, the care of technical equipment and the sterilization of instruments
• After your training, you will be responsible for the preparation, positioning and professional care of patients during surgical procedures, among other things

• Ideally a work-oriented internship in an operating theater or surgical practice
