Senior Physician Forensic Psychiatry (m/f/d)

For our Helios Fachkliniken Hildburghausen we are looking for a full-time (38.5 hours/week) Senior Physician (m/f/d) for our Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy department as of 01.07.2026.

• As part of a multi-professional team consisting of medical, nursing and therapeutic staff, you will work closely with the Chief Physician, his deputy and the medical service and will be responsible for managing the open psychiatric hospital and the forensic outpatient clinic of the Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in accordance with the ThürMRVG
• You will also assume specialist medical/psychiatric responsibility for the care of the inmates of the prison for forensic psychiatry
• You will support and relieve the head physician in the external presentation and optimization of internal core processes
• You are jointly responsible for the training of subordinate staff
• You will also take part in the on-call duty

• Specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy with experience in the forensic field with inmates according to §§ 63 and/or 64 StGB 
• Competent and committed personality with a high level of professional and social competence and Autorität
• Economic thinking and acting in terms of medical and operational Erfordernisse
• Committed and responsible applicant who actively supports the forensic-psychiatric mission of our clinic mitträgt

The Helios Fachkliniken Hildburghausen include the Clinic for Neurology, the Clinics for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, the Clinic for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy, the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy as well as the Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (correctional facility in accordance with Section 64 of the German Criminal Code). The Werraaue residential park also has 50 places in accordance with SGB IX. The Helios Fachkliniken Hildburghausen employ more than 750 people. The Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy consists of a closed, a semi-open and an open area and cares for up to 128 inmates on 11 wards on the legal basis of Section 64 of the German Criminal Code.
