Fresenius SE IT Team is the primary IT point of contact to corporate function and end-to-end responsible for all related IT matters. We translate the business needs of the function into technology requirements and ensure their realization.
In your role as IT Business Relationship Manager (m/f/d) you will serve as a dedicated, discreet, and high-touch bridge between the management board members with their back-office teams and the IT services and solutions in a global corporate setting, ensuring that executive needs are fully understood, integrated, and prioritized. This role emphasizes building strong relationships with executives, fostering trust through effective communication, and enabling seamless technology experiences, especially during travel, corporate events, investor meetings, and other high-profile engagements. By acting as a proactive advisor, you are responsible for ensuring alignment between executive expectations and IT deliverables, allowing leadership to focus on driving business success without technological disruptions.
Build and maintain business relationship with the CEO and Board office, acting as a trusted advisor and primary IT liaison for executive stakeholders, fostering open communication to understand their priorities, challenges, and technological expectations. Translate these needs into actionable IT tasks, ensuring that services and solutions align with their demands and enable executive effectiveness.
Engage with executives and their teams to capture, analyze, and document specific IT requirements for board meetings, corporate events, investor relations activities, and business travel, or even private IT security.
Coordinate the delivery of the above IT services and solutions by collaborating with internal IT teams (infrastructure, security, support, applications) and external vendors and service providers, ensuring flawless execution of presentations, live streams, and virtual participation.
Accompany executives to key events and offsite locations, proactively manage executive travel IT needs, including secure connectivity, device readiness, and access to corporate resources while abroad or in transit.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest enterprise and consumer technologies relevant to executive needs, recommending improvements and best practices. Validate that delivered solutions meet defined requirements and quality standards and document support activities, solutions, and recommendations to contribute to knowledge bases and process improvement.
Advise on IT security, data privacy, and compliance risks for executive activities, ensuring robust protection of sensitive information.
Oversee and manage IT projects and initiatives for the management board, ensuring timely delivery, clear communication, and alignment with executive expectations.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or IT project management, preferably supporting executive or VIP environments in a global, matrixed organization.
Expertise in requirements gathering, business analysis, and translating business needs into IT solutions.
Project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives from conception to completion.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CBAP) are a plus.
Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and communicate confidently with C-level executives and VIPs.
Proven experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Solid understanding of enterprise IT, including infrastructure, security, collaboration tools, and event technology.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks or issues under pressure, especially during live events or travel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English with the ability to present complex topics in a clear, executive-friendly manner and to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
Location: Primarily office-based in Bad Homburg, Germany with flexibility for on-site support in executive offices or at VIP events as needed.
Availability: Flexibility in the planning of the daily working hours/workday to cover the needs of the executives.
