Nursing specialist apprenticeship (m/f/d)

• The nursing specialist training program lasts three years and ends with written, oral and practical examinations
• This is made up as follows - The theoretical instruction is 2,100 hours, the practical part of the training is at least 2,500 hours
• The theoretical training takes place in block weeks at the training center in Burg - experienced instructors are available to you throughout the entire training and offer hands-on training with numerous practical learning phases
• The practical training takes place at the Helios Clinic Jerichower Land in Burg and our cooperating training centers - here you will be accompanied by experienced practical instructors in direct patient care
• During your training, you will receive an attractive training allowance - we will be happy to inform you personally about the details

• The Abitur, secondary school leaving certificate or an equivalent qualification (at least 10 years of schooling) or
• A secondary school leaving certificate together with at least 2 years of successfully completed training or
• Completed training as a nursing/elderly care assistant
• A health certificate for general fitness to work
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

More than 20 training centers are available for training at Helios. One of them is located near the state capital of Magdeburg in Burg. This is where the four Helios clinics train the next generations in nursing.

The Helios training centers develop common standards for basic, advanced and further training. Every year, nursing trainees are asked about their satisfaction with their school and practical training. Experienced teaching staff are available to our students throughout their training and offer hands-on training with numerous practical learning phases.

The Helios Clinic Jerichower Land, academic teaching hospital of the University of Magdeburg, with its own nursing school in the Helios Training Center Jerichower Land, cares for over 12,000 inpatients annually with around 390 employees and 241 beds.
