Clinical FA working as a hospital hygienist or FA for hygiene and environmental medicine (m/f/d) in the Westmecklenburg cluster

As of 01.03.2026 we are looking for exactly you as a Clinical Specialist in the position of Hospital Hygienist or Specialist in Hygiene and Environmental Medicine (m/f/d) for the Cluster Westmecklenburg.

• Development and implementation of hygiene concepts, monitoring compliance with them
• Carrying out risk analyses, initiating necessary measures in the event of outbreaks of infections
• Supporting and advising the clinic management on all issues relating to hygiene and infection prevention
• Advice on hygiene issues for all professional groups in the clinic, patients, relatives, construction projects and medical device reprocessing
• Comprehensive surveillance including the preparation of reports
• The organization and evaluation of hospital hygiene examinations and participation in internal and supra-regional working groups (e.g. building standards)

• You are a specialist in hygiene and environmental medicine (m/f/d), alternatively a clinical specialist with an interest in infectiological issues and clinical hygiene (m/f/d) with the willingness to undergo further training as a hospital hygienist
• You preferably have several years of experience in clinical work
• You have an interest in infectiology and are willing to undertake employer-financed curricular training in accordance with the requirements of the German Medical Association for recognition as a hospital hygienist (m/f/d)
• You strive for the possibility of further training as an infectiologist (certified according to DGI)
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
