The Director Communication, Change and Training will drive and orchestrate all communication, change and training activities across Fresenius Kabi’s corporate functions, market units and production units worldwide in support of the ELEVATE Transformation Program. This role combines a holistic, program-level communications perspective with in-depth, domain-specific engagement for Record-to-Decide (Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, Tax) and Source-to-Pay. The role partners closely with the Head of GPO, the Head of Communication, Change and Training and the Domain Leads (GPO) to define strategy, establish channels, segment audiences, track change readiness and organize training.
Communication Strategy & Planning
Partner with the Head of GPO, the Head of Change, Communication and Training and the Domain Leads (GPO) to define the global communication approach for ELEVATE.
Develop a multi-tiered communication plan that balances program-wide messaging with tailored, domain-specific content.
Identify and segment target audiences across market units and corporate functions.
Channel Management & Content Development
Establish and manage a suite of communication channels (e.g., intranet portals, newsletters, webinars, site visits, digital signage) to ensure timely, engaging delivery.
Produce clear, concise, and visually compelling materials: slide decks, infographics, videos, FAQs, newsletters, and intranet updates.
Coordinate with IT and digital teams to optimize and innovate channel capabilities (e. g., Yammer groups, digital dashboards).
Domain-Specific Communication & Change Implementation
Establish regular communication about the Record-to-Decide (Controlling, Accoutning, Treasure and Tax) content and progress and share with all sites.
Lead communication about the Record-to-Decide Template Content with market units and corporate functions.
Provide regular updates on pilot outcomes, rollout schedules, and benefits realization metrics.
Share success stories about the Record-to-Decide Template and Deployment and lessons from early-adopter plants to reinforce adoption and continuous improvement.
Maintain a change log highlighting resolved issues and upcoming enhancements to keep stakeholders informed.
Change Management & Readiness
Conduct change impact assessments for the domains Record-to-Decide (Contolling, Accouting, Treaury and Tax) to identify process, system, and behavior adjustments at staekolder groups and functions department.
Map change readiness levels, capture feedback, and escalate risks or resistance patterns.
Co-design and deliver targeted enablement activities (e.g., training briefs, coaching sessions for Controlling, Accouting, Treasury and Tax, “change ambassador” networks).
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
Facilitate regular governance forums, steering committees, and stakeholder reviews, preparing agendas and status reports ind te domain related communities
Act as the primary liaison between GPO, domain teams, market unit leadership, and corporate communications.
Capture and share success stories, lessons learned, and continuous improvement ideas.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement - Define metrics and KPIs for communication effectiveness (e. g., open rates, event attendance, pulse survey results).
Monitor and report on progress, adapting tactics based on data and stakeholder feedback.
Benchmark best practices internally and externally to raise the bar on program communications.
Training and Qualifications – Define training content for the stakeholders and roles assigned to the domains
Define and coordinate training content for Record-to-Decide (Controlling, Accounting, Treasury and Tax) qualitative Stakeholder Trainings
Identify training need for IT and software trainings (e.g. S/4 Hana module trainings)
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Change Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
At least 8 years of experience in corporate communications and / or change management — ideally within a global manufacturing or life-sciences environment.
Strong background in either Controlling, Accounting, Treasury or Tax with at least 5 years of working experience in one of these areas.
Demonstrable track record of leading complex, multi-site transformation communications.
Proficiency with digital collaboration tools (e. g., SharePoint, Teams, Yammer, video-conferencing platforms).
Strategic Thinker: Able to synthesize program goals into coherent communication roadmaps.
Excellent Communicator: Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills; adept at storytelling across media.
Influence & Collaboration: Builds trust with diverse stakeholders, navigates complex governance structures.
Project Management: Manages multiple workstreams, deadlines, and interdependencies.
Data-Driven: Leverages metrics to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate impact.
