Manager Business Continuity & Crisis Management (m/f/d)

As Manager Business Continuity & Crisis Management , you will play a central role in strengthening the resilience of the Fresenius Group. You will be responsible for the further development, implementation and governance of the Group-wide business continuity management (BCM) framework and ensure both organizational crisis preparedness and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. In close cooperation with top management and key stakeholders, you will help to secure critical business processes and support informed decision-making in crisis situations.

These are your tasks:

• Design, implementation and continuous development of the Group-wide Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework, taking into account recognized standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. B. ISO 22301, NIS2, KRITIS)

• Implementation and coordination of business impact analyses (BIA) as well as risk analyses to identify critical processes, dependencies and recovery targets

• Develop, maintain, and regularly test business continuity, crisis management, and recovery plans through exercises and simulations

• Ensuring compliance of BCM activities with regulatory requirements for critical services and infrastructures (in particular NIS2 and KRITIS) as well as supporting internal and external audits

• Coordination of crisis response measures and structured support of management in the event of serious incidents and disruptions

• Close cooperation with corporate functions (e.g. IT, cybersecurity, risk management) as well as with the operating companies for the consistent implementation of BCM requirements

• Preparation of regular status reports, management updates as well as decision and resolution templates for top management

• Promotion of BCM awareness and a sustainable resilience culture through targeted training and communication measures

• Acting as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and auditors, on all aspects of business continuity management

This is what sets you apart:

• Completed university degree in business administration, risk or safety management or a comparable field

• Several years of professional experience in business continuity management, crisis management, risk management or in a related discipline, ideally in a globally active company or regulated environment

• In-depth knowledge of relevant BCM standards and best practices (e.g. B. ISO 22301) as well as regulatory frameworks such as NIS2 and KRITIS

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a structured, solution-oriented way of working

• Very good communication and presentation skills as well as a confident appearance towards top management and cross-departmental stakeholders

• Relevant certifications (e.g. CBCI, MBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor) are an advantage

• Fluent in English; Knowledge of German is desirable
