• A three-year apprenticeship, which is divided into a school-based and practical part
• Theoretical training: takes place in cooperation with the school of the University Hospital in Magdeburg and in the form of block lessons and comprises 2,100 hours
• Practical training: practical assignments in operating and functional departments such as the OR, anesthesia and outpatient clinic at the Helmstedt site and comprises 2,500 hours
• The training should enable you to assist doctors before, during and after a surgical procedure
• Daily tasks include, for example, preparing patients for surgery, providing and caring for the necessary instruments and medical devices and documenting the procedure

• At least a secondary school leaving certificate or an equivalent school-leaving qualification
• Minimum age of 16 years
• Interest in working with people and in nursing, social and medical specialties
• Empathy and a willingness to help
• Ability to work in a team and commitment
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• A varied job in a highly committed team

• Remuneration in accordance with the Helios collective agreement
• 1st year of training: €1,548.90
• 2nd year of training: €1,600.65
• 3rd year of training: €1,817.08
• A laptop/iPad for private use and access to the e-learning platform
• Up to 30 days vacation
