To strengthen our team at the Institute of Pathology at the Helios Klinikum Schwerin, we are looking for you at the earliest possible date as

AiW / Pathology training assistant (m/f/d)

full-time or part-time

• Following a structured training plan, you will learn macroscopic sectioning, autopsy work and tissue and cytological diagnostics under the microscope right from the start

• The head physician has full authorization for further training
• You will learn and assess special examination methods such as immunohistochemistry and molecular genetics
• Depending on your level of training, you will represent the department in interdisciplinary case conferences
• You will work in a modern, well-equipped institute in a maximum care hospital with a focus on oncology (oncology center), a certified QM system and a wide range of examinations including molecular pathology

• You have successfully completed your university studies and may already have some experience in the field of pathology

• Doctors in further training (m/f/d) from pathology-related disciplines (e.g. neuropathology or forensic medicine) who would like to complete part of their further training in pathology are also welcome to apply
• You are motivated, responsible, flexible, committed and able to work under pressure
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• Careful and structured training and targeted further development up to the specialist examination and beyond
