We are looking for you as a healthcare and nursing assistant with coding experience (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

• You will support colleagues in the nursing department with the coding of inpatient hospital cases, clarify questions and problems and carry out a case closure after coding has been completed, taking into account the regulatory requirements.
• You check and promote the quality of documentation in the patient files with regard to the specific requirements of the respective specialist department.
• You are good with numbers and present them independently
• Monitor and operate medical equipment
• You will process complaints from payers on matters relating to coding, e.g. in the context of invoice rejections

• You have completed nursing training as a healthcare and nursing assistant (m/f/d), preferably a degree in business administration and already have sound professional experience in coding.
• You have comprehensive knowledge of both medical terminology and the regulatory requirements for case coding (ICD10, OPS, DKR) and are confident in the audit-proof coding of medical services.
• You are familiar with communication channels and communication content with payers for medical services, e.g. data exchange (DTA).
• Good IT skills and the ability to work independently round off your profile
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles is a prerequisite
