  • Neurointerventional procedures in the day and on-call service with the option of training and further education in complex procedures
  • You will work independently in our wide-ranging diagnostic & interventional radiology and neuroradiology department and contribute your expertise from your specialist areas
  • You will have the opportunity to lead the further training of junior doctors
  • Further expansion and design of the neurointerventions area for the Wiesbaden/Rheingau region

What you bring with you

  • You are a specialist in radiology (m/f/d) and have additional training in neuroradiology
  • You have knowledge and clinical experience in (neuro-) radiological intervention, in particular endovascular stroke therapy, which you may also wish to develop further
  • You also have experience in the independent performance of all neurointerventional procedures such as aneurysm treatment, embolization and stenting of supra-aortic vessels
  • Certification according to DeGIR Module E and F is desirable
  • Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology (Director: Prof. Dr.Dr. Stephanie Tritt) offers medicine at the highest level and carries out all standard and innovative diagnostic and interventional procedures in radiology and neuroradiology. We have modern and digitally oriented technical equipment at our disposal. This includes 3 Tesla and 1.5 Tesla magnetic resonance tomographs, multi-line computer tomographs including spectral CT in the new building, the latest generation of digital mammography and tomosynthesis as well as several angiography workstations (mono- and biplanar). The site also has its own MTR school and the Helios HSK clinics are a teaching hospital of the University Medical Center Mainz.
