The Department of Radiology is a state-of-the-art area of imaging diagnostics and also offers various interventional therapy procedures. The department is equipped with a 1.5 Tesla MRI, a 64-slice computed tomography scanner, angiography and, of course, modern equipment for the usual conventional X-ray diagnostics. Furthermore, we have a mammography machine including puncture additive, an examination table (LORAD/Mammotom) for gentle tissue removal for our certified "Breast Center Stralsund".
