Specialist in internal medicine with additional qualification in palliative medicine (m/f/d)

For our Clinic for Hematology, Oncology and Palliative Medicine, we are looking for a specialist in internal medicine with an additional qualification in palliative medicine (m/f/d) or interested in acquiring an additional qualification in palliative medicine and/or hematology and oncology at the Aue-Bad Schlema location as soon as possible.

• Medical advice, treatment and support for predominantly oncological patients with a progressive disease and dying people and their caregivers
• Treatment of patients in a palliative care unit with specialized, inpatient palliative care complex treatment (annual MD assessments)
• Independent and independent care of our patients in a team with flat hierarchies
• Good and close cooperation in a multi-professional team as well as with palliative patients, inpatient facilities, nursing services, outpatient hospice services, etc.
• Participation in on-call duty

• You are a specialist in internal medicine and have the additional qualification in palliative medicine
• Experience in the field of palliative care
• Commitment and strong social skills in dealing with patients, colleagues and external partners (m/f/d) are a matter of course for you
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Clinic for Hematology, Oncology and Palliative Medicine at the Helios Clinic Aue has 29 full inpatient beds, as well as 7 beds in the palliative care unit and 4 day inpatient beds. In addition, there is a KV seat in the MVZ Hematology/Oncology. Patients with oncological/haematological diseases are treated comprehensively on an outpatient, day inpatient and inpatient basis. The interdisciplinary cooperation with all specialties of the hospital, outpatient care services and hospices in the region ensures optimal patient care. Tumor conferences are held regularly on a weekly basis.
