We are looking for you at the Helios Park-Klinikum Leipzig as soon as possible as a Medical Assistant / MFA / Nurse / Nurse / Geriatric Nurse / Nurse (m/f/d) in the function of

Interprofessional Ward Assistant – Geriatrics & Geriatric Traumatology Center.

In our Department of Geriatrics and Geriatric Traumatology, we offer comprehensive medical treatment as part of geriatric early rehabilitation complex treatment. Together with experts from internal medicine, orthopaedics, neurology, psychiatry and other disciplines, we ensure optimal care for acutely ill patients.

• They are in direct contact with the medical service and the nursing team of the geriatrics department and the ATZ in order to ensure the best possible care for patients.
• You will take on delegatable medical activities such as the insertion of flexules, blood sampling, writing 12-lead ECGs and preparing doctor's letters. You will also coordinate the discharges and transfers of patients.
• They accompany medical rounds, prepare them and independently coordinate necessary examinations and measures.
• They occasionally assist with surgical procedures and take over the jumper activity in the operating room to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
• Your area of responsibility will include the professional preparation and follow-up of the surgical unit, including the instruments, materials and equipment required for the operation.
• You will carry out regular and independent sterile goods checks and carefully document all operation-relevant data.

• You are a trained medical assistant / nurse (m/f/d)
