HMU Health and Medical University Erfurt and Helios Klinikum Erfurt are looking for a full-time doctor in further training in internal medicine/gastroenterology/nephrology (m/f/d) to strengthen the team at the university campus in Erfurt as soon as possible.

• Substitute teaching in cooperation with the relevant subject representatives / professors of the clinical phase of study in the human medicine degree program
• Independent design of seminars, internships and bedside teaching
• Acceptance of tests
• Participation in the further development of the curriculum
• For a further scientific qualification, the entire scientific and research structure of the university and the clinic is available to you

• You have a degree in human medicine and are licensed to practice medicine
• A completed doctorate would be desirable
• You are in further training to become a specialist in internal medicine / gastroenterology or nephrology
• Ideally, you already have teaching experience or very good didactic skills
• In addition to your professional skills, you have proven communication skills and strong social skills
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

Our cooperation partner in the clinical section of medical training is the Helios Klinikum Erfurt, maximum care provider and university campus of HMU, which covers almost all specialist areas of modern medicine with over 1,200 beds. In the interest of optimal patient care, 34 clinics and institutes led by chief physicians, several functional departments, outpatient clinics and day clinics are networked with each other.

The 2nd Medical Clinic (Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Endocrinology, Diabetology, Rheumatology) and the Nephrological Clinic (certified by the German Society of Nephrology) - embedded in three other internal medicine clinics - each offer a comprehensive range of internal medicine expertise. One focus of the 2nd Medical Clinic is the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors as well as malignancies of the hepatobiliary system and pancreas in the broad-based DKG-certified Oncology Center. The nephrology clinic is of supra-regional importance, among other things, in the indication and care of patients with peritoneal dialysis.
