For our Social Paediatric Centre, we are looking for a specialist in paediatrics and adolescent medicine / neuropaediatrician (m/f/d) in full-time or part-time employment as soon as possible.

• Clinical-neurological and developmental neurological examination of children and adolescents
• Assessment of the various areas of development, especially cognitive, emotional and social development
• Assessment of the indications of the various diagnostic and therapeutic measures, the different forms of therapy, the assessment of the course of therapy and results
• Close interdisciplinary cooperation in a multi-professional team
• Counseling of patients, parents and other caregivers
• The active contribution of ideas for improving processes within the framework of the expansion measures is expressly desired in consultation with the medical management

• Specialist in paediatrics and adolescent medicine with an interest in the interdisciplinary care of chronically ill children and adolescents (m/f/d)
• Neuropediatric knowledge and experience in EEG diagnosis are desirable
• Communication skills
• Ability to deal with conflicts and mediation skills
• Willingness to take the initiative and undergo continuous training
• Empathy and resilience
• Enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary team
• Legally required
• Proof of immunization against measles

The Social Paediatric Centre Aue (SPZ) is an outpatient facility that works in an interdisciplinary manner under medical management. Children and adolescents are treated who cannot be cared for by suitable doctors or in early intervention centres due to the nature, severity or duration of their illness or an imminent illness (e.g. developmental disorders in infants and toddlers, neurological diseases, emotional disorders, learning and partial performance disorders at school age). Diagnostics and therapy are carried out according to a holistic, interdisciplinary concept by specialists from different disciplines - paediatrics and adolescent medicine/neuropaediatrics, psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, psychology, physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, (curative education), social pedagogy. The SPC Aue is one of 8 approved social paediatric centres in the Free State of Saxony.The Social Paediatric Centre works closely with the Clinic for Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the Helios Clinic Aue.
