Senior Physician General and Interventional Cardiology and Rhythmology (m/f/d)

For our 3rd Medical Clinic - General and Interventional Cardiology and Rhythmology at the Erfurt site, we are looking for a specialist in cardiology as a senior physician (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

• Work in the state-of-the-art environment of a maximum care provider with excellent technical equipment (4 cath labs incl. hybrid OR, rFR, FFR, OCT, IVUS, Shockwave, Coroventis, etc.) and short-term further development into a university hospital
• As a senior physician (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the future-oriented and cross-location development of the clinic together with the chief physician, taking on organizational tasks within the clinic and the cluster or sub-areas on behalf of the chief physician
• The area of application is focused, among other things:
• Conservative and invasive cardiology, especially cardiac catheterization laboratories and hybrid surgery
• Senior physician-cardiological co-care and coordination of individual care areas (e.g. IMC/CPU, ITS, normal ward)
• There is the possibility of professional development within cardiology, e.g. in the field of structural heart diseases, rhythmology, device therapy, cardiac MR

• Specialist in internal medicine and cardiology with additional qualification (e.g. interventional cardiology and/or rhythmology and/or device therapy) with broad clinical experience in cardiology, additional training in internal intensive care medicine is desirable
• Excellent previous experience in invasive coronary therapy incl. 24/7 invasive infarct care, implementation of complex PTCAs (e.g. rotablation, shockwave) and treatment of cardiogenic shock, application of procedures of mechanical circulatory support (e.g. Impella, Impella RP, ECMO)
• Organizational and interdisciplinary thinking with the willingness to further develop clinical processes across locations, creative and organizational talent, very good communication skills, empathy, organizational talent, social competence
• The willingness to continuously develop the subject, implement evidence- and guideline-based care concepts and further develop existing SOPs
• A habilitation is desirable. In any case, however, a high interest in a clinical-scientific activity, the willingness to participate in student teaching and clinical studies within the study department of the 3rd Medical Clinic. If desired, there is the possibility of habilitation in the medium term.

The field of rhythmology is professionally represented by a senior physician. The authorization for further training in cardiac MRI is available in conjunction with the performance of cardiac MRIs at the Erfurt and Blankenhain sites.
