Specialist in Pediatrics (m/f/d)

in our pediatric clinic at the Helios Hanseklinikum Stralsund on the coast.

• Treatment of our pediatric patients, from admission to diagnostics and discharge management
• Informing patients and their families about clinical pictures and treatment options
• Ensuring high medical standards and quality of patient care in the specialist area of pediatric and adolescent medicine
• Supervision and support of assistant physicians together with the head physician in the network
• You will work together with other specialist departments on an interdisciplinary basis
• Take over coding activities

• You are a specialist in pediatrics and adolescent medicine (m/f/d) (with a German license to practice) and have sound clinical experience in the field of pediatrics, ideally basic knowledge of neuropaediatrics
• You recognize business contexts and have a high sense of responsibility and can take on an active leadership role
• Above all, you are characterized by a high level of social competence, a motivating personality and enjoy working with our young patients
• You are willing to take on background and foreground duties.
• You have experience in EEG and sleep laboratory evaluation
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The pediatric clinic has 28 beds, including 6 IMC beds and 2 pediatric surgery beds. All surgical children from the other departments are also cared for on the children's ward. We currently treat 1400 inpatients, approx. 500 pre-inpatient cases and 3000 emergency outpatients per year. In our perinatal center, premature babies are cared for from the 32nd week of pregnancy, the obstetrics department has approx. 900 births per year. There is a pediatric cardiology consultation.
