We are looking for an apprentice as an anesthesia assistant (m/f/d) at the Cuxhaven site as of 01.09.2026.

• In addition to extensive medical knowledge, as an ATA trainee you will receive a wide range of technical knowledge about the operating theatre and anaesthesia and will be prepared for your professional career as an ATA
• Participation in the preparation, accompaniment and aftercare of anesthesia, surgical preparation
• Care and monitoring of our patients from the induction of anesthesia to awakening after anesthesia in the recovery room
• Documentation of the course of anesthesia
• The theoretical knowledge base is taught in block lessons at the Helios Clinic Cuxhaven training centre

• High school diploma or secondary school leaving certificate or a good secondary school leaving certificate with a completed (two-year) vocational training
• Training possible from the age of 17
• Ideally, you have already completed a pre-vocational internship in anaesthesia
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
• You have a high level of concentration in combination with a persistent way of working
