We are looking for a senior physician (m/f/d) in the Clinic for Internal Medicine I - Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Diabetology, Hematology and Oncology as soon as possible.

• The individual care of patients with gastroenterological diseases and within the framework of interdisciplinary cooperation
• Representation of the department as a senior physician in everyday practice – professionally, organizationally and scientifically
• The exchange of knowledge and skills to promote and train our assistant doctors and students
• Joint responsibility for the further education and training of our assistant doctors with a focus on gastroenterology
• Administrative tasks
• Involvement in training events, conferences and patient information events
• Participation in on-call services of the Clinic for Internal Medicine I

• Specialist in internal medicine – completed or about to complete subspecialty designation in gastroenterology
• Willingness to work in a process-oriented manner and DRG-based coding
• You work patient-oriented and have social skills
• The ability to work in a team, enthusiasm for daily work and the willingness to work together in an interdisciplinary manner are a matter of course for you
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Department of Internal Medicine I represents the focus areas of gastroenterology, hematology and internal oncology, endocrinology and diabetology and, in cooperation with the Board of Trustees for Home Dialysis, nephrology.

Approximately 3,800 patients are treated as inpatients every year.

The team-oriented, interdisciplinary cooperation in the Clinic for Internal Medicine I enables optimal patient-oriented diagnosis and therapy of patients with all diseases from the specialist areas. Complex care is possible at any stage of the disease.

A modern, comfortable new building is available for patient accommodation, which is in no way inferior to the examination rooms.

In the endoscopy department, the entire spectrum of gastroenterological diagnostics and therapy is covered with state-of-the-art technical equipment. 5,500 endoscopic examinations are carried out every year. Another focus is sonographic diagnostics.

In addition to its own clinical spectrum, cardiological, pulmonological and angiological diseases are also treated together with the Clinic for Internal Medicine II and III. There is close cooperation with all 20 departments and institutes of the hospital, whose patients with internal diseases are also cared for on a consultative basis. The clinic's medical care center allows our patients to be treated beyond their inpatient stay.
