For our Clinic for Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, Hand and Burn Surgery at Helios University Hospital Wuppertal, we are looking for a

Senior Physician (m/f/d)

full-time or part-time.

• Traditional clinic for plastic surgery / hand surgery with the entire spectrum of modern plastic and aesthetic surgery as well as hand surgery
• Focus on the field of reconstructive microsurgery and reconstruction of all body regions as well as hand surgery
• In the supra-regional trauma center, close cooperation with the Center for Trauma Surgery and Orthopaedics with participation in the Injury Type Procedure (VAV)
• Accreditation for the Hand Severe Injury Procedure (SAV Hand) with a section for hand surgery (Head: Dr. Al Maktary)
• Close partnership in the Helios Adipositas Center West with performance of all body-lifting procedures
• Transgender surgery (including penoid reconstruction)
• Membership of the interdisciplinary tumor board (skin tumors / soft tissue tumors)
• Membership of the interdisciplinary breast center with aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery
• Full further training to become a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery (m/f/d) and additional qualification in hand surgery

• Specialist (m/f/d) in plastic surgery and/or specialist (m/f/d) with the additional qualification of hand surgery
• Experience in emergency hand surgery care in order to be able to work independently in the background service. Training and support will of course be provided
• Team-oriented cooperation with all professional groups, patients, relatives and visitors
• Ability to work in a team with a modern, goal-oriented, cooperative management style and the ability to motivate and develop employees
• A high degree of responsibility, commitment and organizational skills
• Interest in further scientific development in the specialist field
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
