For our Clinic for Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, Hand and Burn Surgery at the Helios University Hospital Wuppertal, we are looking for a

Senior Physician (m/f/d)

full-time or part-time.

• Traditional clinic for plastic surgery / hand surgery with the entire spectrum of modern plastic and aesthetic surgery as well as hand surgery
• Focus on the field of reconstructive microsurgery or reconstruction of all body regions as well as hand surgery
• In the supra-regional trauma centre, close cooperation with the Centre for Trauma Surgery and Orthopaedics with participation in the Injured Persons Procedure (VAV)
• Admission to the Severe Injury Method Hand (SAV Hand) with a Section for Hand Surgery (Head: Dr. Al Maktary)
• Close partnership at the Helios Obesity Center West with the implementation of all body-toning procedures
• Transgender surgery (including penoid augmentation)
• Membership in the interdisciplinary tumor board (skin tumors / soft tissue tumors)
• Membership in the interdisciplinary breast center with aesthetic and reconstructive breast procedures
• Full further training to obtain the specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery (m/f/d) and the additional qualification in hand surgery

• Specialist (m/f/d) in plastic surgery and/or specialist (m/f/d) with the additional qualification in hand surgery
• Experience in emergency hand surgical care in order to be able to work independently in the background service. Induction and support will of course be guaranteed
• Team-oriented cooperation with all professional groups, patients, relatives and visitors
• Ability to work in a team with a modern, goal-oriented, cooperative leadership style and the ability to motivate and develop employees
• A high level of responsibility, commitment and organizational skills
• Interest in scientific development in the field
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
