Helios Klinikum Schleswig offers you the opportunity to complete a Voluntary Social Year in a hospital.

The Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) is a year of education and offers young people between the ages of 16 and 26 the opportunity to get involved in social work. The FSJ usually starts on August 1st of each year, but it may also be possible to start at a different time. In addition to the practical work at the respective placement, the FSJ is accompanied by educational seminars aimed at promoting cultural, social and intercultural skills. Suggestions from participants are always welcome. Our work placements are in charitable and healthcare institutions.

• You are at least 16 years old
• Interest in nursing or other medical professions
• You have a high level of social and communication skills, resilience, flexibility, the ability to work in a team and a sense of responsibility
• Respectful, patient and attentive interaction with people is a matter of course for you, as are reliability, punctuality and conscientiousness
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• Social security if you are entitled to child benefit
• A monthly pocket money of €390
• An FSJ card with entitlement to discounts, e.g. on public transport
• Discounts for over 480 top brands and prevention programs, e.g. discounts at sports studios
• The possibility of extending your FSJ for up to 6 months and, if applicable, the option of accommodation in a staff residence
