The Helios Clinic Schleswig offers you the opportunity to complete a voluntary social year in a hospital.

The Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) is an educational year and offers young people between the ages of 16 and 26 the opportunity to get involved socially. The FSJ usually begins on August 1st of each year, but it may be possible to start at a different time. In addition to the practical work in the respective assignment site, the FSJ is pedagogically accompanied by seminars that aim to promote cultural, social and intercultural skills. Suggestions from the participants will be gladly taken into account. Our places of assignment are in welfare and health care institutions oriented towards the common good.

• Comprehensive pedagogical support and advice
• Participation in an introductory course "Care and Health" (with certificate)
• Lessons in weekly and daily form
• Assignments on various wards and areas

• You are at least 16 years old
• Interest in nursing or other medical professions
• You have a high degree of social and communication skills, resilience, flexibility, ability to work in a team and show a sense of responsibility
• Respectful, patient and attentive interaction with people is a matter of course for you, as is reliability, punctuality and conscientiousness
• Legally required proof against immunization against measles

• Social security in the event of entitlement to child benefit
• A monthly pocket money of 390€
• An FSJ card with entitlement to a discount, e.g. on public transport
• Discounts for over 480 top brands and prevention programs, e.g. discounts at gyms
• The possibility of extending the FSJ for up to 6 months and, if necessary, the possibility of accommodation in a staff dormitory
