Physician Assistant - Emergency Room (m/f/d)

To support the medical service in our Central Emergency Department, we are looking for a Physician Assistant (m/f/d) as soon as possible, on a permanent part-time or full-time basis.

• Support in structured initial assessment of the arriving patients
• Organization of diagnostics, implementation of suitable examinations, evaluation and documentation of findings together with our doctors
• Application of infusions, administration of medication
• Participation in the care of surgical emergency patients
• Coordination of daily processes in the ZNA and the affiliated ward

• Completed Physician Assistant studies with basic training as a nurse (m/f/d) or in geriatric care
• Motivation, empathy and enjoyment of working with people and working independently
• Analytical and implementation-oriented thinking and acting
• Social skills as a team player
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The emergency room (24/7) is interdisciplinary according to the specialist disciplines located at the hospital. In accordance with the GBA decision on a tiered system of emergency structures in hospitals, Helios Klinikum Aue will ensure comprehensive emergency care (Level III).

There is an observation station in the emergency room, which will also be enlarged during the planned structural expansion. On day duty, a surgical and an internal medicine employee work directly in the emergency room. All other disciplines send a consultant promptly.
