What you can expect

  • You will work independently in our wide range of histological and cytological diagnostics and contribute your expertise from your specialist areas
  • You will manage your own functional area such as prosectory or in-situ hybridization
  • You will have the opportunity to lead the further training of junior doctors
  • You will provide the indication for special examinations including immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology (NGS, in-situ hybridization, etc.) and interpret the findings in the context of histomorphology
  • You will represent the department in interdisciplinary tumor conferences and quality circles, virtually or on site
  • If you are interested, several associated tumor centers, the digital way of working and the increasing implementation of AI solutions in pathology offer opportunities for scientific activity
