• Counseling skills in challenging life situations: Deepening skills in dealing with people in difficult situations and with special support needs.
• Interdisciplinary work & professional understanding of roles: Strengthening cooperation with different professional groups and developing a clear professional self-image.
• Cooperation with external providers & target groups: Developing skills to work effectively with external service providers and specific target groups.
• Independent work & self-reflection: Promotion of independent working methods and continuous self-reflection for quality assurance.
• Patient- and family-oriented counseling & social legislation: Deepening knowledge in patient- and family-centered counseling as well as in the relevant social codes (SGB V, VI, IX, XI) and the associated application procedures.
• Dealing with complex psychosocial issues: Developing skills in conflict management, dealing with addiction and dependency disorders, child endangerment and clinical psychology.

• School-leaving certificate: General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences.
• Practical experience: An internship in the social sector is an advantage.
• Social skills: Enjoy working with people, communication skills, empathy and resilience.
• Proof of health: Legally required proof of immunization against measles in accordance with the Measles Protection Act.
