• You will support our medical staff with physical examinations and assist with patient care
• Extensive integration into the work planning and workflow of our clinic
• Regular anamnesis discussions, ward rounds and meetings will help you to link theory and practice and you will learn to incorporate your theoretical knowledge into everyday practice
• Step by step, you will be introduced to the diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities of the respective specialist area
• Participation in ward rounds, M&M conferences and team meetings
• Assignments are possible in all specialist areas

• You are a registered student (m/f/d) of human medicine and have already passed the 1st state examination and are in the orientation phase of your medical studies

• Current certificate of enrollment

As an academic teaching hospital at the Technical University of Dresden, Helios Klinikum Aue is a leading healthcare facility in western Saxony and provides excellent medical and nursing care to around 100,000 patients a year with around 1,300 employees. As a specialist hospital with around 600 beds in 16 clinics, the hospital provides medical care to patients nationwide in almost all medical disciplines. Our hospital has a medical care center, a social pediatric center, a medical vocational school and its own company daycare center with extensive childcare facilities.

The large district town of Aue-Bad Schlema is a municipality in the western Ore Mountains with 21,000 inhabitants and offers an attractive environment characterized in particular by sports. Thanks to its excellent transport links and proximity to Chemnitz and Zwickau (approx. 20-25 minutes' drive), a metropolitan infrastructure is also immediately available. The journey time to Dresden and Leipzig is just over an hour. You can enjoy winter sports throughout the Ore Mountains, especially in Eibenstock and Oberwiesenthal.
