For the start of training on 01.10.2025 for our Helios Clinic in Pforzheim, we are looking for you as a

Trainees as anesthesia technical assistants (m/f/d)

• The future ATAs (m/f/d) should become familiar with the diverse tasks in the anesthesia service through the training and acquire the special knowledge, skills and behaviors required to fulfill these tasks
• The theoretical training (approx. 1,900 hours) takes place in a block system at an ATA school, the Academy of the Reutlingen District Hospitals. You will then apply what you have learned in a targeted manner in your wide range of practical assignments. The practical training (approx. 3,300 hours) is taught in rotation at Helios Klinikum Pforzheim. You will work with state-of-the-art medical equipment and can look forward to working with a friendly and helpful team
• As an ATA, you will be involved in the preparation, monitoring and aftercare of anesthesia and will assist our patients on their way to the recovery room
• You will learn the correct reprocessing and disposal of anesthesia materials
• You will learn how to handle medical equipment and materials properly and professionally

• For a successful start to your training as an anesthesia technician (m/f/d), you should ideally have a secondary school leaving certificate or high school diploma
• Alternatively, we also recognize a secondary school leaving certificate in combination with completed vocational training
• We also require a nursing internship of at least two weeks in an acute care hospital. Initial insights into anesthesia are desirable
