Internships offer many advantages. You can put what you have learned to the test and obtain your first practical experiences. In addition, at Fresenius you also have the opportunity, from the word go, to collaborate on tasks requiring a great deal of responsibility and on challenging European or even global projects. In return, we will welcome your fresh thinking and engagement, as well as your curiosity and innovative ideas.
Needless to say, you will of course receive the necessary support as you begin working at Fresenius: Each intern will be accompanied by a dedicated mentor within the department and will be free to ask him or her any questions. In addition, every intern will always be able to call on mentor from the HR department.
Students can complete the regular internship with us during their studies or in the gap year between two courses of study. This will ideally take at least six weeks and can last up to six months. It goes without saying that interns will be adequately remunerated during this time.
Argentina, Hong Kong, USA or Australia: as a global player with locations on six continents, Fresenius offers you the opportunity to complete a foreign internship and gain your first practical experience abroad. As Fresenius has a very decentralized structure, we are unfortunately not in a position to provide foreign internships directly – for a foreign internship you must therefore apply directly to the relevant site. Click here to access the job search. Then click on "Open map view" in order to find your preferred country on the world map. When you open the relevant job offer you will find the respective contact information.
Interested? We look forward to your online application through our portal. We can process these applications more quickly and they save you money.
Your internship at Fresenius will not only offer you vital practical experience, it will also give you valuable contacts – with experienced colleagues in your team and in the group, as well as with other students within the company. In Bad Homburg we have set up a regular lunch for interns where students can get together to network, discuss their work and familiarize themselves with issues from other divisions and departments. Our regular interns’ evening is another opportunity for interns to meet up. This is an after-work event where Fresenius invites students to a restaurant or a bar in the Rhein-Main area.
