Global Medical Information Scientist (m/f/d)

  • Prepare, adapt and implement informative and educative services, deliverables and activities for the department of Medical Information & Education within the Global Medical Information and Education and Global Medical Office.
  • Manage and conduct continuous update and improvements in these services, deliverables and activities
  • Support the Implementation of new informative and educative services, deliverables and activities and periodic revision and updating of existing materials, according to the general strategy of the department of Global Medical Information & Education and Global Medical Office.
  • Provide guidance and direction on handling inquiries, i.e. receive, process and provide high-quality, non-promotional and timely information to requests for medical information from both internal and external customers using medical experience, company data, standard replies and critical analysis of the scientific literature to create essential information for all FME products in oral or written form.
  • Develop standard response documents and FAQs to medical information requests; ensure medical information, FAQs, literature and information sources for the products are updated on a regular basis with current best knowledge.
  • Provide scientific support to other departments including the performance of systematic scientific literature searches in compliance with copyright approval; this includes systematic literatures searches for the creation of Clinical Evaluation Reports.
  • Develop the content for product- and therapy-related trainings for FME colleagues as well as customers and patients.
  • Content-related development and co-shaping of FME organized educational events both internally and externally
  • Master degree qualification with specialisation in Nephrology or PhD qualification with Life Sciences preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in medical information and knowledge of applicable regulations
  • Leadership experience in a team-based organisation
  • Demonstrated project management, organisation and time management skills
  • Work experience in industrial roles in or adjacent to Medical Affairs
  • Networking capability with KOLs, medical societies and other professional bodies
  • Experience in ethical and medical compliance
  • Ability to prepare relevant facts as well as clear information and communication of complex issues
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Able to adapt to new relevant trends and structures
  • Very good confident business English (spoken and written)
  • Other foreign languages of great advantage
  • Extensive knowledge in IT-User applications, e.g. MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MindManager, SAP
  • Willingness to travel and work outside standard office
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours

Your profile
