Furthermore, vocational training at Fresenius is a good decision for your future. Fresenius is a highly successful, growing organization. Questions on the application process

What is the right time to apply?

Ideally you should apply approximately one year before the vocational training program starts, i.e. in the summer of the preceding year. Of course you can apply year round. However, if you wait too long you may find that all vocational training programs for the following year are full. Some locations have a specific application deadline, e.g. Schweinfurt in November of the preceding year.

Can I apply to multiple vocational training programs?

No, that is not possible. You have to decide on one profession that best matches your interests and strengths. If you need help deciding, why not try our Fresenius Azubi-Navi (apprentice guide - German only)?

What information should my application contain?

In the cover letter, please tell us something about yourself and your interests as well as why you are applying to your chosen vocational training program. In addition, we require a curriculum vitae (CV) in tabular format (including information on relevant extracurricular activities) and a copy of your two most recent school report cards. Proofs and certificates of completed internships or courses should also be included. You will find additional information on the application process here. For online applications, .doc, .pdf, .jpg, and .gif file formats are acceptable.

How does the online application process work?

You will find our current openings for high school students on our job listings page. If you want to apply for an opening, please click on the "apply now" button that you will find in every job listing. Please complete your online application by following the steps listed there. You'll find additional pointers under "Instructions for applying online" on every page of the online application form.
Once you've completed your application, please send it off. You'll receive an automatically generated e-mail acknowledging receipt.

How does the selection process work?

If we think your application is a good match, you'll receive an invitation to the next assessment test at the site in question. Applicants who successfully complete this test will be invited for an individual interview. If your interview is successful, we will send you an offer - and look forward to welcoming you to Fresenius as an apprentice.

How can I prepare for the assessment test?

The assessment is designed to test general knowledge and skills, for example your ability to concentrate and your organizational skills. Depending on the vocational training program, we may test your mathematical skills, your spatial perception, your job-specific knowledge and your written and verbal skills.

How can I prepare for the interview?

The interview is our chance to get to know you as a person. At this point, you have already proven your qualifications - now we want to see if you will fit into our team on an interpersonal level. That means you should be yourself - in a normal conversation in which we also hope to answer any questions you may have. Your questions are a sign of your interest in our company and the vocational training program, so you should take the time to learn more about our company before the interview.0

In our conversation, we also would like to learn more about your reasons for choosing this career path, your expectations for your chosen profession, and your personal interests and likes. "How do you picture a typical working day in your chosen profession?" "In your opinion, what makes this career path so interesting?" "What do you think a person has to do to be successful in this job?" - these are all potential questions that you should be able to answer during the interview.

You should be able to reply naturally and honestly, not answer by rote. By the way, it is perfectly normal to be a bit nervous going into an interview. Just try to be yourself as much as possible.
