Have you found an interesting position in our job search function for an apprenticeship or for a dual study? Here are a few tips on how to apply:

We recommend all students to use our online application management system.  This is the fastest way to apply – you do not need more than 10 – 15 minutes for your application. In this way, all of the required application documents will be assigned to the right position in electronic form – and you will save both time and money.

If an online application is not possible, we will also accept applications by email or post. Please send your email application and your postal application directly to your personal contact in the relevant departments.

Checklist: Your application should include the following

  • A detailed cover letter: Briefly introduce yourself and explain why you would like to complete your training or internship at Fresenius. Don‘t forget to mention what position you are applying for.
  • A tabular résumé: Provide your contact details, your existing school education, any further training or internships you have completed, etc.
  • Your last two school reports
  • Any internship certificates you may have
  • Photo (optional)

Please ensure that your application documents are in one of the following formats: pdf-, doc-, xls-, ppt-, pps-, rtf-, txt-, odt-, ods-, odp-, jpg-, gif-, png- or bmp files (no more than 7 MB per file). You are also required to upload each document as a separate file.

How we process your application

Confirmation of receipt

Once we have received your application, we will quickly send you a confirmation of receipt.

Recruitment test for Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA, Fresenius Medical Care and Fresenius Kabi

If we are impressed with your application documents, you will receive an invitation to our next possible recruitment test at the relevant location. This will take place at the location to which you have applied, and will take around 2 ½ hours. The questions and tasks will relate mainly to mathematics and German, but will also address personal skills such as your ability to concentrate and organize and to think logically. However, you should also be prepared for job-specific questions.


Once you have successfully passed the recruitment test, you will be invited to interview, which will take around one hour. Here we are mainly interested in getting to know you better and getting an overview of your skills and qualifications.

Conclusion of a contract

After your interview we will get in touch with you and let you know our decision. If you receive an offer from us and accept it, we will send you a training contract, which we will kindly ask you to sign and return to us.
