To strengthen our team at the Clinic for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery (Ward 15) at the Emil von Behring site in Berlin Zehlendorf, we are looking for you as Deputy Ward Manager (m/f/d)

• Support and representation of the ward manager in the professional and organizational management of the nursing team
• Ensuring professional, empathetic and evidence-based care in a varied, interdisciplinary environment
• Promoting an appreciative team culture, supporting change processes and providing impetus for innovative care concepts
• Interface between nursing, doctors, therapists and relatives with a clear view of processes and needs in the orthopaedic and trauma surgery specialist area
• Participation in training courses, further training and internal projects
• Empathetic support and counseling of patients and their relatives to ensure needs-oriented and appreciative care

• Completed training as a nurse, ideally with further training as a ward manager or experience in a managerial position as well as knowledge in the relevant field of activity
• Sound professional experience in nursing, preferably in the field of orthopaedics/trauma surgery
• Proven leadership experience as well as the ability to inspire and develop employees in order to achieve strong team dynamics and continuous development
• High level of empathy, structured working methods and clear communication to ensure optimal patient care
• Proof of the legally required measles immunization
