The radiology clinic at HELIOS Klinikum Pirna has a 1.5 Tesla MRI, 80-line spiral CT, fluoroscopy and conventional X-ray equipment. Diagnostic services are provided for the clinics for surgery (general, thoracic, vascular surgery, traumatology, neurosurgery and plastic surgery), internal medicine (with oncology, gastroenterology and cardiology), gynecology, ENT, pediatrics, urology, geriatrics and psychiatry. MR tomography is used for all diagnostic services relating to the brain, spine, extremities and abdomen, as well as cardio-MRI and MRI of the prostate. All regions of the body are examined using computer tomography, including cardio-CT, CT angiography and CT-assisted interventions and pain therapies. Night and weekend services are provided in a teleradiology cooperation.
