To strengthen our orthopaedics and trauma surgery team, we are looking for a doctor in further training / assistant doctor (m/f/d) for orthopaedics and trauma surgery in Überlingen on a full-time or part-time basis.

What you can expect

  • Care of orthopaedic/trauma surgery inpatients with all medical tasks and activities
  • Work in the central emergency room under anesthesiological supervision
  • Assisting with surgical procedures and independent surgical activities in line with further training
  • As part of the on-call service, you will look after our inpatients and outpatients
  • The Helios Hospital Überlingen is involved in the Serious Injury Procedure (VAV) and has recently been recertified as a regional trauma center.
  • We currently have 24 months of further training authorization for orthopaedics / trauma surgery and 18 months for special trauma surgery.

  • You are a committed doctor (m/f/d) with a German license to practice medicine who is seeking further training in surgery
  • Interest in the specialties of trauma surgery and orthopaedics
  • A high sense of responsibility, initiative, reliability and a strong interest in team-oriented work

  • An open and confident manner as well as flexibility and enthusiasm
  • Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Clinic for Trauma Surgery, Orthopaedics and Reconstructive Surgery covers the areas of general and special trauma surgery, minimally invasive endoprosthetics (hip endoprosthetics via AMIS access, navigated knee endoprosthetics, shoulder and elbow joint prosthetics), special reconstructive joint and spinal surgery as well as hand and foot surgery. Around 2000 patients are treated in the department every year.

The Surgical Center of the Helios Hospital Überlingen has five specialist surgical departments: General and Visceral Surgery, Trauma Surgery/Orthopaedics, Vascular Surgery, Urology and Gynaecology.
