For the Helios Maximum Care Clinic and the Human Medicine degree program at the Health and Medical University Erfurt, we are looking for you as of January 1, 2027 as

Chief Physician and Professor for our Center for Geriatrics (m/f/d).

• As Chief Physician (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the entire medical, organizational and strategic development of one of the largest geriatric clinics in Germany as well as the training of your medical staff
• As Chief Physician (m/f/d) of the Center for Geriatrics, you will be responsible for the strategic development of the Helios Cluster Thuringia Central and, together with the hospital management, will play a key role in shaping the further expansion of an interdisciplinary cross-location center
• They represent the field of geriatrics in patient care at the Helios Clinic Erfurt as well as in the Thuringia Central Cluster and in direct academic connection in teaching and research in the degree program at the Health and Medical University in Erfurt

• We are looking for a personality with a nationally and internationally visible clinical and academic profile in geriatric medicine and the additional qualification in geriatrics
• You can prove your professional and academic qualifications with a specialist in internal medicine, general medicine, neurology, psychiatry/psychotherapy or physical and rehabilitative medicine (m/f/d) and additional geriatric training as well as habilitation or equivalent scientific achievements
• With your expertise, you cover the entire geriatric spectrum. You have excellent clinical experience and have social skills and empathy in dealing with all professional groups as well as with patients
• Excellent communication skills, a high sense of responsibility, commitment and assertiveness as well as a high degree of organizational skills are among your strengths
• You have collegiality, sensitivity and role model function as well as strong social skills in dealing with other professional groups, patients and referring physicians
• You are an excellent geriatrician - you convince with your expertise and excellent quality of results
• You stand for competence and personality in your field - your patients are in the best hands with you right from the start and recommend you to others
• You think in business terms - you are convinced that good medicine can be excellently increased through cost-effectiveness and efficiency
• You are actively involved in academic teaching, have a visible scientific profile with supra-regional networks within the framework of your research priorities
