Data Scientist (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Data Scientist / Data Scientist (m/f/d) for a limited period of 2 years with the option of extension for our Helios Health Institute GmbH in Leipzig

• Design and implementation of data-driven solutions for the analysis and evaluation of clinical treatment data
• Conducting well-founded statistical analyses to answer medical and scientific questions
• Further development and optimization of methods for the integration, analysis and visualization of complex data sets
• Advice and methodological support for clinical research projects (e.g. caseload planning and study design)
• Participation in the statistical planning and design of clinical trials (study protocol, statistical analysis plan)
• Close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams from medicine, research and IT

• Degree in data science, statistics, (bio)informatics, psychology or a comparable quantitative discipline
• Several years of professional or practical experience in the field of data science, ideally in a medical environment
• Very good knowledge of R as well as experience with relational databases and SQL
• In-depth expertise in medical statistics and biometrics, including relevant R-packets and test procedures
• Structured, independent way of working as well as very good written and spoken English skills
• Proof of existing measles protection in accordance with legal requirements
