The Forensic Clinic is one of three facilities in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for the correctional treatment of patients with mental disorders. The clinic accommodates patients who are either provisionally detained or detained in accordance with a decision. The clinic is divided into a closed area with an admission and crisis ward and three therapy wards, as well as an open residential group and a training apartment. Rehabilitation and outpatient aftercare for former patients is provided by the forensic institute outpatient clinic.
