At the Helios Rhein-Ruhr Kliniken - Duisburg Huckingen location - we are looking for a speech therapist (m/f/d) for our socio-paediatric centre, for the duration of a parental leave replacement.

• The treatment of children who are affected or threatened by behavioural disorders, physical or mental disabilities
• Usual socio-pediatric examinations and developmental testing
• Sonography, ECG, video EEG, visual acuity and refraction determinations, all laboratory tests (from blood counts to CGH arrays) and the entire spectrum of paediatric hearing diagnostics (from tympanometry to OAEs to BERA)
• In addition to comprehensive diagnostics, long-term development support
• Coordination of medical therapies and aids
• The focus is on advising families
• Age-appropriate diagnostics of speech, speech and voice disorders in both children (Social Paediatric Centre) and adults (in the Outpatient Clinic of the Phoniatrics Paediatric Audiology)

• A completed vocational training as a speech therapist (m/f/d)
• Enthusiasm for working with children and their families
• Professional experience in working with children, especially in challenging life situations (e.g. socially stressed families, mental illnesses of a parent)
• An autism-specific additional qualification is advantageous for the work, but not a prerequisite
• Good IT skills in Office
• Organizational talent, ability to work in a structured way and flexibility
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
