At the Helios Rhein-Ruhr Clinics - Duisburg Huckingen site - we are looking for a speech therapist (m/f/d) for our socio-pediatric center, for the duration of a parental leave replacement.

• The treatment of children who are affected or threatened by behavioral disorders, physical or mental disabilities
• Usual socio-pediatric examinations and developmental tests
• Sonography, ECG, video-EEG, visual acuity and refraction tests, all laboratory tests (from blood count to CGH array) and the entire spectrum of childhood hearing diagnostics (from tympanometry to OAEs and BERA)
• In addition to comprehensive diagnostics, long-term developmental support
• Coordination of medical therapies and aids
• The focus is on advising families
• Age-appropriate diagnosis of speech, language and voice disorders in both children (Social Pediatric Center) and adults (in the outpatient clinic of Phoniatrics Pedaudiology)

• Completed professional training as a speech therapist (m/f/d)

• Enthusiasm for working with children and their families

• Professional experience in working with children, especially in challenging life situations (e.g. socially stressed families, mental illness of a parent)
• An autism-specific additional qualification is an advantage for the work, but not a prerequisite
• Good IT skills in Office
• Organizational skills, ability to work in a structured manner and flexibility
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
