As Area Manager Information Security, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing our security strategy in your region. They act as thought leaders, consultants and implementers and make a significant contribution to the continuous improvement of our information security. They act as a regional interface between hospitals, IT, departments and management. In this role, you will report to the CISO of Helios Kliniken GmbH.

• Strategic Leadership and Consulting:
• You will implement regional safety policies and processes based on the group-wide safety strategy and take into account the specific needs and requirements of your clinics
• You will advise the management and management of medical facilities on all questions of information security and raise awareness of current threats and risks
• You will initiate and manage projects to strengthen information security in your region and ensure their sustainable success
• Risk management and compliance:
• You will regularly carry out risk analyses, assess the threat situation, identify vulnerabilities and develop targeted measures to minimise risk
• This includes in particular processes, ICT systems and medical technology (including DIN ISO 80001)
• You will ensure compliance with current and future regulatory and internal requirements for information security (e.g. BSIG new version, KRITIS Regulation, B3S, ISO 27K, NIS2, CER)
• You will plan, coordinate and accompany internal and external audits and support certification processes
• Operational implementation and management:
• You will coordinate and monitor the implementation of security measures in the facilities and continuously evaluate their effectiveness
• You will take responsibility for security incident management in the region and lead the investigation and resolution of security incidents as needed
• They strengthen the security awareness of employees through targeted training and effective and effective security campaigns.
• Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:
• You will work with a variety of internal and external contacts at different levels including IT, doctors, nurses and management
• You will coordinate and promote cooperation between regions, the central information security team and relevant interfaces, such as data protection, compliance and external service providers, and ensure efficient coordination

• Qualification:
• Degree in (business) informatics, information security or a comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience (at least 5 years) in the field of information security, ideally in healthcare or another regulated environment
• In-depth knowledge of the relevant standards and norms (e.g. NIST, BSIG, ISO 27K, BSI baseline protection, GDPR, KRITIS)
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or similar are an advantage
• Experience:
• You work independently, on your own responsibility and with a focus on results
• You communicate convincingly, inspire others for your ideas and implement them effectively
• You will be able to analyze, structure and communicate complex issues in an understandable way
• You have strong analytical, conceptual and strategic skills as well as a high degree of responsibility and integrity.
• You have negotiation skills and assertiveness
• You are willing to travel within the assigned region
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
