We are looking for you at the Leipzig Heart Center for the two-year training as a nursing assistant (KPH) / nursing assistant (m/f/d) starting on 01.03.2026 and 01.08.2026.

• You will support nurses (m/f/d) in the care and support of patients
• You will learn to control vital parameters (including measurement of pulse, temperature, blood pressure)
• You will assist the nursing staff (m/f/d) in carrying out medical orders and support the documentation and organisation
• They support the admission, transfer and discharge of patients
• You accompany patients to examinations and treatmentsYou work closely and interdisciplinary with other professional groups

• You have a school-leaving certificate (e.g. Hauptschulabschluss)
• The motivation to develop together with us in 2 years of training and to work with us as a team
• You have empathy, reliability and a sense of responsibility
• You are a team player and able to communicate
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• An attractive training allowance according to the company collective agreement - you do not have to pay school fees and 30 days of vacation
• A permanent employment contract after successfully completing training at the Leipzig Heart Center or the Helios Park-Klinikum Leipzig

How does the training work?

The training lasts two years and is divided into theory and practice.

You will complete the practical training in the care areas of our clinic and at our partner companies in inpatient and outpatient long-term care.

The theoretical training takes place either in our own Helios vocational school or in the school of the German Red Cross in Leipzig.

You will receive an apprenticeship allowance from us and you do not have to pay any school fees.

The Leipzig Heart Centre with its 3 university clinics for cardiology, cardiac surgery and paediatric cardiology is part of the Medical Faculty of the University of Leipzig.
